Twice per year (September-October and April-May) on Sunday mornings, 8:45 to 9:45 am. Register on Church Center or call the office at (781) 585-3167.
The Covenant Course is four Sunday hours toward membership. 8:45 to 9:45. Intro to Mayflower. Foundational Doctrine. Spiritual Disciplines. Covenant Membership. You leave knowing who we are, what we confess, the ordinary practices that keep a Christian under the Word, and what you would promise if you join. We hold the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 and teach from the 1689. Coming does not mean you have to join. To register use the email link below or call (781) 585-3167.
Intro to Mayflower. Who we are, and what we believe. How we worship, how we care for one another, and how we serve. What church membership means at Mayflower. This is the first hour if you are new, or if you have been here a long time and never sat down to hear it whole. Sitting in this class does not obligate you to join.
Foundational Doctrine. What this church confesses. We hold the Baptist Faith and Message 2000. We also teach from the Second London Baptist Confession of 1689. One hour on the faith we share, so a member can say what we believe and why it matters for a life together.
Spiritual Disciplines. How a Christian stays under the Word after Sunday. The ordinary work: Scripture, prayer, gathering, a life that actually follows Jesus. We talk about what those practices look like in a household in Kingston. Come with questions.
Covenant Membership. What it means to belong here. A covenant is a promise, made in the sight of God and this congregation. We walk through the care we owe one another, and what you are saying if you join. This hour is for a clear yes, or a clear not yet. Coming does not obligate you to join.
