Christ Supreme (cont'd)

4/27/2025 -

As we continue Christ Supreme, Hebrews now brings us to the heart of the Gospel: the finished work of Christ. Jesus, our great High Priest, has entered the greater and more perfect tent, not with the blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood, securing eternal redemption for all who are His.

From Hebrews 9:11 through the end of the letter, we are invited to behold the sufficiency of Christ's sacrifice, the certainty of the new covenant, and the unshakable kingdom we now receive. We will be called to perseverance, to worship with reverence and awe, and to offer our very lives as sacrifices of thanksgiving.

Hebrews points us beyond the shadows of the old covenant to the supreme reality of Christ Himself—the Mediator, the Sacrifice, the King, and the Shepherd of our souls. In a world that is passing away, we are summoned to cling to the One who is unchanging, whose cross, resurrection, and reign secure our hope forever.

Come ready to be anchored in Christ—our supreme Redeemer, our supreme High Priest, and our supreme Lord.
